UN General Assembly 81st Session Cites IPLSA's Initiative – Para 50 Highlights Plight of "Comfort Women" Memorial Statues

The International Public Law and Service Association (IPLSA) has long been engaged in advocacy and voice-raising on a wide range of economic and social issues on international platforms. In the relevant documents of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, our recent advocacy projects have been cited. 50. Statues and memorials commemorating the "comfort women" are seen as symbols of international solidarity with the survivors; however, these statues and memorials face the risk of being dismantled or obstructed from installation.
